For more information about pottying babies, the following links may be helpful:
- Tribal Baby by Canberra-based ECing mum, Charndra, the story of ECing with Maven. This site is packed with useful information and tips for getting started with EC and keeping going.
- Join OzNappyFree, a flourishing email list of informative and supportive EC families living in Australia and NZ. Details about occasional real life meetings around Australia are given on this list. Note that there are regular potty parties in New Zealand - check out diaperfreebaby.org for complete details of these.

- "Can I still start if my baby is six months or older?" An article by Laurie Boucke. (The short answer is "YES, of course".)

And some EC related products:
- Baby Legs, based in South Australia, make beautiful leg warmers for babies, which can be a great help for ECing babies in colder weather
- OneWet Pants are custom-made training pants for EC babies and toilet learning toddlers. As they are made to measure they will fit any sized child. A variety of other EC gear is also available from that site.
- Other training pants small enough for six to twelve month olds are made by Bright Bots, and can be purchased online or in various department stores. Melissa has bought some in the past from Jumping Jack Flash. They aren't waterproof, but they stop the wee from going on the carpet. Alice makes Shi-shi Nix which can be found at Bongobaby.
- For information about the stunning range of modern cloth nappies and their easy care, read through the OzClothNappies FAQ. Melissa's favourite cloth nappies (at the moment!) are PeaPods, which are pocket nappies. You can stuff a face washer in to catch one wee, and it's relatively waterproof. If it gets full enough, the wee wicks through the seams though.
- If one of your motivations for ECing is sparing landfill, you might like to consider a product like the Diva Cup. It is a silicon insert for use during your period instead of using pads or tampons. DivaCups are not available in-stock in Australia due to regulations required for approval for such items. Occasionally I may place a co-op style order for DivaCups, so contact me to register your interest in such a purchase. Alternatively, you can purchase them from the Diva Cup website, various eBay vendors or from the marvellous New Zealand site JungleMama.co.nz. A similar but slightly different menstrual cup is the Mooncup - not available in Australia - but able to be purchased from a variety of places including Mummy's Milk in Singapore.
